Objective
This project aimed to develop five flight interface designs for the Atlanta International Airport. Four screens are dedicated to departures and arrivals, with a drop-down menu for additional details. The final screen showcases an informational page where a passenger can access customer service, lost and found, along with TSA Security wait times.
This design intends to communicate flight information effectively in an orderly and simplistic layout. Passengers should be provided with a direct and effective form of communication to navigate flight information easily through their mobile screens. Interface design is significant because it offers clear and straightforward assistance to better guide individuals through their mobile devices.
Research
At the beginning of this project, research was conducted on pre-existing flight tracking. This exploration focuses on web and iPhone interfaces. When searching, I came across apps that were challenging to follow and some that were user-friendly and modern. I wanted to look for a design that needed updates and think about how to make my interface designs clean, straightforward, and user-friendly.
